Job Description

  • To commence Term 2, 2025 
  • Part-time, ongoing Latin Teacher position, can be combined with other methods to create a full-time load 
  • Salary range - $82,863 to 124,197 per annum plus superannuation

Desired Skills and Experience

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration (or ability to obtain), including a VIT approved Teaching qualification.
  • Ability to demonstrate and authentically promote Ballarat Grammar’s values. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in teaching Latin up to VCE level.
  • Significant comprehension of LOTE concepts, principles, methods and vocabulary.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to display compassion.
  • Knowledge of differentiation, feedback and assessment strategies which enhance learning.
  • Be committed to the exploration of critical thinking and inquiry through the pursuit of excellence and understanding.
