Job Description

  • Hours of work - 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • School Term Time only
  • To commence November 2026

Join Ballarat Grammar's Library Services team and contribute to a vibrant learning environment that supports students across the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools. Based primarily in the Middle and Senior School Library, this role plays an important part in delivering high-quality library services through the management of print and digital resources, supporting students and staff, and helping to create welcoming, well-organised spaces that inspire reading, curiosity and lifelong learning. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and service-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative educational setting and making a meaningful contribution to the School community.

Desired Skills and Experience

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Experience working either in a Library environment or School setting.
  • Passion for literature and fostering a love of reading.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to display compassion, patience and flexibility.
  • Well-developed prioritisation skills, including ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent IT skills, including strong database skills, library management systems and good visual digital platform design skills.
